How we do it

We aim to bring long-lasting results and fast.

We do this by challenging existing beliefs and encouraging collaborative ways of working, creating cultures and methods that work – no matter what the challenge or the environment.

And we do this by creating an environment that both mirrors the business world of constant change, but also removes the comfort of habit and presents a playing field where people cannot hide behind convention and, more importantly, are able to demonstrate their true strengths.


Our programmes use a combination of shore based workshops combined with sailing based challenges.

The sessions are not designed to give some form of adventurous or outward-bound training, but to offer a new environment in which to work – one where the accepted pecking order has no place; one which allows everyone to flourish and demonstrate their ability in an alternative, challenging environment which replicates the changing and challenging environments of the modern business world.

All the programmes give people the experience of the impact of change - and challenge mindsets in a safe and fun environment.

Our exercises realistically help people to understand just what integrated thinking, planning and actions really are and what they demand. And this understanding enables them to then apply that learning to their own work situations.

And of course, we achieve all this with a sense of fun as well as learning.

 

We make the most of different tools to re-create known environments in unknown situations – bringing results fast.
  Most organisations that use boats for team building are borne out of the boating business; JCPii is not.

Our roots are in
